Me, Jim Clooney

Drawing on more than three decades of experience in the investment field, James Clooney is a noted mortgage investment advisor and strategist. Graduated in 1981 from St. John’s University with a degree in Accounting, James Clooney immediately began working for accounting giant Arthur Young International as a Junior Auditor. Quickly recruited as a Senior Auditor by Touche Ross in less than six months, James Clooney served in that position until 1983. At that time, he was recruited by well-regarded Prudential Securities as an account executive. In this capacity, James Clooney was rated the number-two trainee in the country at the company, managing $1 million in assets for its clients. James Clooney would go on to work for a number of financial investment powerhouses in escalating levels of responsibility and authority. James Clooney’s roles ranged from Assistant Vice President at Lehman Brothers to a similar position at UBS with responsibility supervising $7.5 million of equity. James Clooney subsequently served as Vice President of Salomon Smith Barney, overseeing $10 million in assets as the number-one salesperson in 1987. James Clooney transitioned to a role as President of Biltmore Mortgage. Subsequently, James Clooney spent more than a decade as President of CVO/JEC Consulting Corporation until launching Total Solutions Advisors. Currently, James Clooney currently operates as Principal of the independent marketing firm for real estate and consumer finance professionals and companies. Outside of his professional pursuits, James Clooney also serves as a member of the United States Tennis Association and holds National Senior ranking in the sport. James Clooney is a supporter of the East Norwich Fire Department and a fan of the literary works of John Steinbeck.
